Every Metal Canvas Creation is finished with oil to protect and preserve the

patina surface. With the right placement, your piece will remain as vivid and alive

as the day it was made.

I create my artwork for interior spaces where light can move across them naturally

— a living room, hallway, dining room, office space or studio where they can be

appreciated throughout the day as the light changes.

To protect the integrity of the patina and oil finish, I'd recommend avoiding humid

or damp environments such as bathrooms, conservatories, or areas close to

exterior doors in wet climates. Direct exposure to moisture may affect the

surface over time.

I'd also recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to intense direct sunlight —

while natural light within the room is what brings these pieces to life, extended

periods of direct sun may affect the depth and richness of the patina surface over

time.

 

To clean your artwork, lightly use a soft microfibre cloth only. Avoid

chemical cleaners, sprays or anything damp — these will damage the oil finish and affect

the patina beneath it.
